A Scottish artist based in Perthshire, Scotland
specialising in watercolour paintings.
Marianne spent her formative years on the slate island of Luing on the West Coast of Scotland, now living in the beautiful countryside of Perthshire.

She takes her inspiration from the abundance of beautiful nature and wildlife that has surrounded her throughout her life.

She originally studied Art and Design but put down her brushes to concentrate on family and a career in hospitality.
However in 2020 her circumstances changed and she can now devote more time to creating art.
Painting makes her happy and this comes through in her work and consistently gives the same amount of pleasure to others.
Marianne enjoys painting just about anything and each day is a new adventure, she has discovered a real love for painting animals, birds and figures in watercolours.

Marianne has exhibited her work at Meffan Winter Exhibition, Dunkeld Art Exhibition, Rattray Art Festival and in 2023 she will be opening her studio as part of the Strathmore Open Studios in May as well as being one of the artists for the Flock to the Show art trail, touring the country before coming together at The Royal Highland Show. Marianne's sheep is 'Grass to Yarn' and celebrates The Golden Shears World Championships 2023
